#1 One long and strong baby girl on the way! See previous post. With this welcome adventure we will also be naming both sets of our parents GRANDPARENTS for the first time!
We already knew they are grand and wonderful, just, you know, thought we should make it official! :)
#2 Parker graduated with his Masters in Geology from CSM in May! HOORAY! All his hard work has been rewarded and my handsome hubby did an amazing job!
#3 Recovering from the last 2 years of Graduate work...
#4 Two weeks worth of house hunting in the north-Houston area... and more recovering from Graduate work... TX 90 degree+ style
#5 My wonderful cousin Alicia and her hubby came to visit, it was a great excuse to revisit some of our favorite places, and catch our last Rockies Game for a while.
#6 Having fun but sadly saying goodbye to many of our wonderful friends and family in Colorado, to prepare for our move from lovely Golden to our new lovely town in The Woodlands, TX.
#7 I was given a wonderful baby shower with many wonderful friends, family, and lovely-adorable-irresistible gifts. Thank you so much everyone!!! Such a special time!
#8 Taking our baby girl to her first concert. Yes that is Garth Brooks! He asked if we would name her Garth...
#9 Totally spontaneous trip to UT to visit Family, we left within an hour of the light bulb turning on. So fun to see Parker's fam and my sisters as well!
#10 Having an adventure of a time driving the long way to our new Texas home while our belongings were in transit. We had a wonderful time going thru southwestern Colorado, Great Sand Dunes National Park, New Mexico, Santa Fe, western Texas (a lot of western Texas), Lubbock, Abeline, Austin, and finally to the Woodlands! (ps. my orchids survived the move with only a few bruises and are blooming gloriously!)
#11 Settling into a a new place, a new job, and new schedule! Not to mention learning to cook again after about one whole month off...
First day of work - Check him out! ow ow!
#12 Fantastic trip to Alaska that deserves its own post. My WHOLE side of the fam was together, it was awesome not to be missing anyone! We had a wonderful wonderful time.
#13 Nesting. Hardcore Nesting. More to come on that later probably :)

Yay! Loved the update. Lots of stuff going on with you guys. Congrats to Parker on his new job. And you're going to love TX. That's my home state. Everyone I know who moves there never wants to leave ;) Good luck with baby girl!!! Such exciting news!
AHHHHHH you are having a baby girl too!! Maybe they will be in the same byu ward and then be mission comps twice! Very fun to read about your goings on! Did you get a house? Show us!

OOoooooo... the Woodlands. We liked it there and thought about buying there, but didn't. You should post a pic of the front of your new abode. If you guys are on a Sunday drive sometime, you should drive by our house and see if the yard looks OK and if our house is still standing. 13110 Finch Brook Dr. Cypress, TX 77429.
Have you been to Memorial Park yet? Love that place. And how about the museum district? We loved it there too!
Hey Emily! It's Brittany from freshman year! Congrats and the little one on the way and a girl! So fun! We only have boys around here so a little pink around the house would be welcome! You'll have to stop by and see us if you're ever in our neck of the woods of Texas (Dallas). So happy to see that you've been converted to Chuy's!!! My husband builds their restaurants so we are huge fans! Seriously, if you're ever this way just drop me a line!
Yeah!!! You updated!!! Blaine and I love the picture of Parker & Blaine hula hooping! And Blaine also like the picture of you tow in your car, he wants to go for a ride in your car! Miss you!!
